The Wonder Years...

I met one of my classmate from my grad days when she was in transit via Hong Kong (from US to India), recently. It was a great feeling to meet someone from my distant past (Thanks to Face book).

Shilpa and I were batch mates while doing B.Sc in Life Science in Ruia College in Mumbai. She got married and moved to US and my life took a different direction with MBA and we lost touch for so many years.

To catch up on those magical college days, remembering the hang-out places (the restaurant where we ate Chinese-Indian food, the tea shop with Misal Pav and Samosas etc), the professors (Prof. Arun Kothari-the handsome one, Prof.Ganesh Iyer, Prof. Rattan Kumar), the other batch mates and where they are now, romances between batch mates and the final result... it was like transported back to the wonder years...

Shilpa also mentioned the co-incidence of having 4 of our batch mates from Ruia College living in the same area in California now and how they are still in touch.

While chatting , we also realised that each and every moment of our life is so precious and important and sometimes .And after so many years down the line, we understood the importance of some seemingly unimportant events and activities in College.

Really, college days were the best days...carefree and really enjoyable. I don’t think they will ever come back.
